On January 24, Da Phuc Commune People's Committee (Hanoi) launched the program "Da Phuc Green Tourism - River Camping" with the theme "Touching nature - Green experience by the Ca Lo River".
The event is organized to promote the development of the cultural industry, turn human potential and values into sustainable development resources, and develop Da Phuc towards green tourism, rural tourism, and experiential tourism.
Taking place in two days, January 24-25, the "River Camping" program is organized in the dike and alluvial area along the river in Ben and Trung villages, combining historical and cultural relics and typical agricultural models of Da Phuc commune.

Here, visitors can participate in camping activities on the spacious, lush green lawn by the Ca Lo River, take check-in photos with the wind farm or participate in folk games such as blindfolding to catch ducks, pulling mines... In the afternoon, visitors can prepare a barbecue, enjoy BBQ right at the poetic camping area.


Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc (Da Phuc commune, Hanoi) said that before, she had passed through the dike many times but had never gone down to the riverbank. Knowing that this place had become a camping destination, she was very surprised and decided to come with her husband to experience it.
The lawn is really spacious and has many interesting activities. I am very happy that an area near my house can develop into a camping area with many interesting activities. Hopefully in the future, this camping area will be known and more bustling," Ms. Truc shared.
In addition to camping by the river, tourists coming to Da Phuc can also visit destinations associated with culture and history such as Ba Temple, Nhu Nguyet river defense relic complex or Tien Tao communal house... In particular, the green tourism model associated with agriculture is of interest to many tourists.
Here, visitors will visit and experience the famous vegetable growing model of ancient Hanoi in Tien Tao vegetable village with royal vegetable fields, cilantro, mint, onions, deep green corn fields... Visitors can personally experience the process of planting, caring for, and picking fresh vegetables and fruits.


Speaking at the program on the afternoon of January 24, Chairman of Da Phuc Commune People's Committee Do Thu Nga said: "Tourism products only succeed when they create positive emotions and attraction return to tourists. The program is the starting step for the local orientation of green and sustainable tourism development, with the commitment to diversify experiential products associated with nature - culture, putting people at the center, protecting the environment and constantly improving quality based on absorbing opinions from tourists, experts, and businesses".
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong said that Da Phuc has a lot of potential for developing green tourism and green economy. In which, tourism is considered a driving force, a "wing" for the locality to develop sustainably in the future.
The Deputy Minister requested the locality to continue to improve infrastructure, invest in waste treatment and effectively exploit potential, in order to develop Da Phuc sustainably, richly, and strongly, associated with preserving traditional values.
Da Phuc commune, Hanoi City was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population scale of 07 communes: Tan Hung, Bac Phu, Xuan Giang, Viet Long, Duc Hoa, Xuan Thu and Kim Lu. The total natural area is 55.27 km2, with 33 villages, 83,650 people, the locality is surrounded by the Cau River and Ca Lo River, many alluvial grounds with pristine, poetic beauty, rich wet rice and agricultural civilization. Da Phuc converges many unique cultural heritages and festivals associated with the traditional culture of the nation and the land and people here.
