On the morning of October 19, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Captain of the Rescue Team under the Nha Trang Bay Management Board said that the rescue force had just successfully rescued a male tourist in the beach area of Tran Phu Street, near Tram Huong Tower, Nha Trang Ward.
Earlier, at around 6:30 a.m. on October 19, while patrolling, a rescue worker discovered a man with signs of drowning, swept away by large waves nearly 10 meters from shore.
As soon as they recognized the emergency situation, the rescue workers immediately jumped into the water, approached the victim and brought him safely to shore.
The rescue team contacted an ambulance to take the victim to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for emergency care and a comprehensive health check.
It is known that the male tourist is from Hanoi, staying at a 4-star hotel in Nha Trang.
Nha Trang beach rescue forces also warned tourists and residents that the weather in Nha Trang sea area is currently having big waves, posing many potential dangers.
Therefore, it is recommended that people should not swim at this time to avoid unfortunate incidents.
