Da Nang Food Tour 2026 festival officially opened at Bien Dong park, An Hai ward last night - May 21.

The highlight of the opening night was a elaborately staged art program with modern stage language, combining music, lighting, art performances and culinary scenes.
From rustic rural kitchens, street vendors reminiscent of old city memories to the vibrant rhythm of modern coastal city life, the entire program emotionally recreated the journey of formation and development of Quang cuisine culture.
In particular, the grand opening ceremony by the sea officially opened the series of vibrant culinary and entertainment festivals of Da Nang Food Tour 2026.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee said that the city hopes that each citizen and tourist when coming to the festival will not only enjoy delicious dishes, but also feel the rhythm of life, spirit and very unique identity of the coastal city of Da Nang, a young, dynamic, creative city but still rich in traditional values.
This year's festival is also a specific step in the strategy to build Da Nang into a leading festival, event and culinary destination in Asia.
Through a series of experiential activities, art performances, cultural spaces and digital technology, we expect to continue to bring people and tourists new, modern and more emotional experiences," Ms. Thi said.
This year's festival also marks a strong transformation in the application of technology to culinary tourism with the deployment of the Digital Map of Da Nang Cuisine - ShopeeFood.
This helps tourists easily explore, choose and experience prominent culinary destinations throughout the city.
At the same time, the Danang Food Tours 2026 series (May - December 2026) connecting the city center with Hoi An, Dien Ban, Tam Ky and Dai Loc also expands the journey to explore cuisine in depth, bringing tourists closer to craft villages, local communities and the unique cultural values of Quang land.
