The Department of Tourism of Da Nang city has provided information on destinations, new tourism products, festival events, tourism environment and programs to attract MICE and wedding tourists of Da Nang tourism, and at the same time received information and proposals from tourism units on promoting the reopening of flights from Chengdu - Da Nang and cooperation policies to attract tourists from both sides.
In addition, leaders and tourism businesses of the two localities also discussed and exchanged difficulties and solutions to improve the quality of products and services, meeting the needs and tastes of tourists.
Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh - Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang city said that, based on the achievements in the cooperation between the Department of Tourism of Da Nang city and the Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Chengdu in the period of 2018-2023, tourism of the two localities will continue to strengthen cooperation in the new period, focusing on restoring the direct flight route Chengdu - Da Nang, supporting businesses to effectively exploit the source of tourists from both sides, implementing destination promotion and tourism development cooperation between Da Nang (Vietnam) and Chengdu (China) in the coming time.
According to the leader of the Chengdu Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, Chengdu will build a close cooperative relationship with Da Nang, increase information sharing and jointly develop culturally unique and creative tourism products, and turn tourism products into creative products, enhancing the tourism experience for visitors.
