On November 18, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Council Tran Phuoc Son and Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi attended the groundbreaking ceremony of phase 2 of the Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa project (at Xuan Thieu tourist area, Hai Van ward).
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - said that the project has a total investment of about VND3,900 billion, making it the project with the largest investment capital of Japan in the tourism - service sector in Da Nang up to now.
Phase 1 of the project has been operating since February 2022, creating job opportunities for nearly 600 workers, attracting hundreds of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in Hai Van ward in particular and Da Nang city in general.
According to Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, the groundbreaking of construction and operation of villas, luxury hotels and ancillary services of the project in phase 2 not only expands the project's service capacity, affirming the strategic vision, the investor's trust and long-term commitment to Da Nang City.
Phase 2 of the project is planned into a multi-functional complex, including a 15-storey hotel building 63m high and a 14-room villa area with a separate reception hall. When put into operation, the new hotel will merge with the existing 22-storey hotel building, creating a typical "lining moon" image on Da Nang Bay.
The Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee believes that with the capacity, experience and determination of the investor, the project will be implemented to ensure progress, quality, compliance with regulations on safety, environment, fire prevention and fighting, etc.
