The City People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the Da Nang New Year Festival 2026: "Danang New Year Festival 2026", taking place from December 30, 2025 to January 3, 2026.
Accordingly, the festival activities will spread across many prominent locations of the city, including: the landscape floor on the North side of the East bank of Dragon Bridge, An Hai Ward; the East bank park of Dragon Bridge (land on Tran Hung Dao - Ly Nam De Street), An Hai Ward; the landscape floor on the North side of the West bank of Dragon Bridge (opposite VTV8), Hai Chau Ward; the landscape floor on the South side of the West bank of Dragon Bridge (opposite Cham Sculpture Museum), Hai Chau Ward. Bach Dang walking street, Hoa Cuong ward.
An Hoi Scalp Garden (Nguyen Phuc Chu Street), Hoi An Ward. Tam Thanh Sea Square (Quang Phu Ward), 24/3 Square (Ban Thach Ward). The beaches in the wards: An Hai, Thanh Khe, Quang Phu, Hoi An Dong, Hoi An Tay.
Connecting activities at tourist attractions: Sun World Ba Na Hills, Vin Wonders Nam Hoi An, Hoi An Memories Island, hot spring park of Than Tai Mountain, Danang Mikazuki Japanese Resort & Spa, Dong Giang Sky Gate Eco-tourism Area, Da Nang International Airport, Chu Lai Airport, Da Nang Station... and hotels in the city.
The festival brings many unique art, entertainment and experience programs, contributing to attracting people, domestic and international tourists to Da Nang at the end of 2025 - early 2026.
Specifically: Check-in space; Opening and art performance program of the 2026 Da Nang New Year Festival, Dai Lo "Da Nang - New Year 2026"; Cheer Fest food space - Connecting joy, Art program, "Welcoming the dawn of the invitation", welcoming program for tourists on the first flight and train to Da Nang 2026, stimulus program and connecting activities.
Through the festival, Da Nang aims to promote and advertise destinations, attract domestic and international tourists, contribute to stimulating tourism and bringing a joyful and experiential atmosphere to people and tourists at the end of the year.
The event also aims to increase the richness of the city's series of activities in the period of 2025-2026, thereby strongly positioning the brand "Da Nang - Leading Festival and event Destination in Asia".
At the same time, the festival contributes to building an annual festival brand typical of Da Nang tourism on the occasion of welcoming the New Year, creating opportunities for businesses to introduce products and services, increase stay time, spending of tourists and contribute to the effectiveness of tourism activities of the city.
