Da Nang is becoming a tourist attraction thanks to the return of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2026).
Taking place on weekends from May 30 to July 11 with 6 shimmering performance nights by the Han River, the festival promises to bring eye-catching light feasts.
Besides buying tickets at the official stand area on Tran Hung Dao street, the question "Where is Da Nang fireworks beautiful and free?" is of great interest to many tourists.

1. Bach Dang Street
Bach Dang road located on the west bank of the Han River is considered the most prime location to watch low-altitude fireworks nearby.
The most beautiful viewpoints are located on the section from No. 42 to 50 Bach Dang street (closest to the shooting point on Song Han Port), the area near Vu Nhom building or the section of Memory cafe extending towards Thuan Phuoc bridge.

Located along Bach Dang street, APEC Park with the "high kite flying" architecture owns a wide, airy yard and has a direct view of the shooting location.
Here, visitors can fully feel from the sound, bright lights to the vibrant atmosphere of the festival. The space in this area is airy, easy to stroll and take photos. Visitors can also admire the largest, widest and most magnificent fireworks displays.
However, due to its prime location, Bach Dang street is extremely crowded, easily obscured by crowds or green trees if you do not come early.
2. Tran Hung Dao Street
Located along the East bank of the Han River, the area along Tran Hung Dao street and the riverbank near the official stands is an ideal coordinate to enjoy fireworks from low to high.
Standing here, you will have a direct opposite view to the shooting range across the river, capturing the intertwined streaks of light and falling into the calm water.
3. Dragon Bridge and Han River Bridge

Located very close to Song Han Port, Dragon Bridge and Song Han Bridge are two places for people to enjoy free high-altitude fireworks.
The most ideal spot is the middle of the bridge area, where you can look straight down at the fireworks display area. Nearby, the Love Bridge area (next to the carp transforming into dragon statue) is also a romantic high-altitude fireworks viewing corner sought after by many couples.
In addition, the vacant land near the foot of Dragon Bridge or the sandy area near Han River Bridge overlooking Thuan Phuoc Bridge is also a fireworks viewing spot chosen by many people.
On the nights of DIFF 2026, these bridges will be restricted from parking or traffic diversion to ensure safety.
4. Tran Thi Ly Bridge and Nguyen Van Troi pedestrian bridge
If you want to find a more airy and less crowded corner than the Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge is a great alternative. With a unique cable-stayed design and ideal height, this bridge provides a panoramic view of the entire Han River.
Right next to it, Nguyen Van Troi pedestrian bridge is also a favorite gathering point for Da Nang youth every fireworks season to comfortably capture beautiful photo angles.
5. Thuan Phuoc Bridge area and Nhu Nguyet street
Located at the end of the Han River where it flows into the sea, Thuan Phuoc bridge and the sandy beach area at the foot of the bridge (looking out to the bay) although a bit far from the shooting range, are extremely airy. This location is suitable for those who hate jostling.
From here, you can capture all the shimmering high-altitude fireworks casting shadows on the water.
6. Son Tra Peninsula

For those who love quietness, privacy and want to find a unique perspective, move to Son Tra peninsula. Standing from the roads leading out to the sea or the area near Linh Ung Pagoda, you will admire the panoramic view of Da Nang from above with clusters of fireworks blooming brilliantly in the night sky.
It should be noted that the pass roads are winding and quite deserted at night, tourists traveling by motorbike should go in groups and drive very carefully.
Notes for a complete fireworks viewing night
In free areas along the river and on bridges, you should be present 2 to 3 hours before the shooting to maintain a location with satisfactory visibility.
You should choose parking lots a little further from the central area and then walk to the viewing point, to avoid traffic jams after the program ends.
The waiting time is quite long, please bring drinking water, a hand fan, snacks and a phone charger.
Tourists need to carefully keep wallets and phones in crowded places. If there are young children with you, always keep them within your sight.
