The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism issued Official Dispatch No. 842/CDLQGVN-VP to the Department of Tourism; Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities on preparing conditions to serve tourists during the Hung Kings Commemoration holiday, April 30 - May 1 and the 2026 summer tourist season.
Accordingly, the Department requests localities to thoroughly grasp and implement the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on strengthening state management in the field of tourism.
At the same time, organize activities to serve tourists, improve the quality of products and services, and promote communication and promotion of destinations.
One of the key contents is to require tourism businesses, tourist areas, tourist spots and service business establishments to strictly implement legal regulations. Units need to inspect and upgrade facilities, service procedures, ensure security, safety, rescue and service quality.

The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism also emphasized the compliance with regulations on fire prevention and fighting, food safety and hygiene, tourism environmental protection, and waste treatment in accordance with regulations. In particular, business establishments must publicly list prices, sell at listed prices, and not discriminate against tourists.
In addition, localities are required to strengthen inspection, supervision, and strictly handle organizations and individuals violating business conditions and service quality standards. At the same time, localities need to promote propaganda and raise awareness of preventing and combating fraud in the online environment during the peak tourist season.
To limit overload and congestion at destinations, localities need to develop plans to regulate and classify passengers by area; coordinate to ensure smooth traffic, creating favorable conditions for tourists to access tourist areas and attractions.
For water entertainment activities, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism requests strict implementation of solutions to ensure safety for tourists. At the same time, tourism businesses are not allowed to use vehicles that do not meet business conditions, do not ensure safety, especially road and inland waterway transport vehicles.
In addition, localities need to publicize hotline phone numbers to receive and handle feedback from people and tourists; control information, avoid spreading false information that affects the image of tourism.
