On the evening of August 27, a preliminary parade and parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 (A80) is scheduled to take place at Ba Dinh Square.
Despite unfavorable weather, since early this morning, many people and tourists have flocked to the roads around the area to reserve their seats, hoping to get the best seating position.
According to Lao Dong's records at noon on August 27, despite heavy rain, many families patiently waited for hours at Nguyen Thai Hoc, Trang Thi streets, Hung Vuong - Tran Phu intersection... People had prepared raincoats, umbrellas, drinking water, and food.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong and her family from Phu Xuyen commune (about 30 km from the center of Hanoi) were present at the location to watch the parade, which began at 7am.
While covering up to avoid the rain, she shared: "We prepared food and drinks from home, because we were afraid that when the road was closed, the whole family would not be able to buy anything. Despite the rainy and windy weather, we are very excited, only once in 80 years, never seen a parade.

Not only Hanoians, but many tourists from distant provinces were also present early to wait. Ms. Pham Thi Thinh, Dong Thanh commune (Nghe An), took her daughter to Hanoi from the evening of August 26, rented a room to sleep overnight and arrived at Nguyen Thai Hoc street at 5am.
"Although it was raining, the whole family was determined to go, because it was an honor to watch the parade live. I prepared bags, pig cakes, drinking water, raincoats... so that the mother and child could wait from morning to night.
This is the first time I have witnessed a parade, so I have to try to watch both the preliminary review and the official ceremony on September 2" - Ms. Thinh shared.

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on August 26, some families even set up tents to take shelter from the rain and keep a good location at the Hung Vuong - Tran Phu intersection. However, the authorities quickly arrived to remind and ask these groups to dismantle their tents and leave the area to ensure security, order and urban beauty.
The city also arranged 10 battle tents at 5 locations around the central area to support people to watch the parade in safe conditions, with toilets and preventive health stations.
The preliminary approval program for the parade and parade on the evening of August 27 mobilized tens of thousands of officers and soldiers from the armed forces, along with students, workers, intellectuals and representatives of many classes of people.
This is a comprehensive inspection before the state-level general approval and the official parade and parade on September 2 - a particularly important political and social event of the country.

Previously, the Organizing Committee recommended that people and tourists strictly follow the instructions of the authorities, not to illegally set up tents on the sidewalk and the road to avoid traffic jams and traffic insecurity.
At the same time, attendees need to pay attention to weather conditions to proactively protect their health in the context of complicated storms in the North.
Although they had to wait for many hours and were constantly windy, the radiant beauty and excitement of the people created a special atmosphere before the preliminary approval ceremony.
For many people, this is a "once-in-a-lifetime" experience, an opportunity to immerse themselves in the sacred atmosphere, proud that the whole country is looking forward to celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day.
