Ta Dung National Park in collaboration with UNDP Vietnam (UN Development Program in Vietnam) organized a technical consultation workshop for the draft ecotourism, resorts and entertainment project.
Located at an altitude of nearly 2,000m above sea level, Ta Dung is considered the roof of Dak Nong province. This area has a total area of over 20,000 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 85% of the core area.
With the terrain of often green, often moist rain-free tropical rain in low mountains, Ta Dung National Park is one of the most biologically diverse areas, with many rare animals and plants.
According to the report, Ta Dung National Park currently has more than 1,400 plant species, of which 89 are endangered and 59 are listed in the Vietnam Red Book.
The animal system is also rich with about 650 species, including 70 endangered and rare species and 61 species recorded in the Red Book.

Not only an important biodiversity conservation area, Ta Dung is also an ideal destination for eco-tourism with activities such as trekking, wildlife observation and exploring outstanding waterfalls: Sunfall, Granite Waterfall, Bay Tang Waterfall.
Mr. Khuong Thanh Long - Director of Ta Dung National Park said: "ta Dung National Park is not only a natural treasure trove but also a cultural intersection of more than 40 ethnic groups in Dak Nong".
The development of eco-tourism here not only contributes to nature conservation but also promotes the local economy. The draft tourism project proposes developing trekking routes through the forest, stops at waterfalls, environmental education centers and indigenous cultural experiences.
When approved, the project will be an important legal basis for Ta Dung National Park to implement sustainable tourism, increase the value of forest services and reduce the pressure of unsustainable resource exploitation.
