From May 22 to 24, Tam Thanh Sea Square (Quang Phu ward) becomes a new rendezvous for tourists and people when the "Vi Bien" culinary festival. The program is within the framework of the Da Nang Food Tour 2026 Festival.

Not only is it a companion activity, the "Vi Bien" Food Festival is considered an expanded piece of the Da Nang Food Tour 2026 Festival in the tourism development strategy, bringing the flow of experiences to spread from the city center to coastal spaces and local communities.
In the open sea space rich in identity, the festival brings a journey to explore the life of the coastal region through the flavors, sounds and rhythm of fishing village life.
Here, visitors can enjoy fresh seafood, experience Central Vietnamese cuisine, interact with chefs and artisans, and directly participate in traditional handicraft activities such as mesh weaving, making mesh bags, bamboo root carving, making brooms or handmade bags.

The highlight of the program is a series of themed culinary performances taking place from 6 pm to 9:30 pm daily with many attractive experiences such as "Tiger tuna feast", "Flavor of heritage region rolls", "Tiger chicken and Tay Giang village pork feast" along with direct processing of Quang specialty dishes such as herring salad, banh dap, stir-fried mussels, Que Son cassava pho, Hoi An chicken rice or sweet corn.
Besides the culinary space, more than 50 OCOP booths and local specialties also contribute to vividly recreating the coastal cultural picture of the Central region.
Folk art performance programs such as chanting bài chòi combined with community interaction activities help "Vị Biển" not only be a place to enjoy delicious food but also become a space to connect culture and local experiences.

Through the "Vi Bien" culinary festival, Da Nang continues to affirm the direction of tourism development associated with indigenous culture, marine economy and local communities. This is also an effort to innovate tourism products, expand the experience space and increase the attractiveness for the southern coastal areas of the city.
With youthful colors, rich experiences and the rich breath of the coastal region, the "Vi Bien" culinary festival is expected to become a new highlight of the 2026 summer tourist season, continuing to spread the image of Da Nang as a leading attractive festival, event and culinary destination in the region.
