On the afternoon of October 26, the Binh Thuan Delicious Food Contest took place at NovaWorld Phan Thiet. This is a series of events of the 2024 Tourism Week to celebrate the 29th anniversary of Binh Thuan Tourism Day.
The competition was attended by chefs from restaurants, hotels, resorts, tourist attractions in Binh Thuan and other provinces and cities.
There are 21 teams competing, each team has 2 chefs who cook and complete the dish right at the competition table. The chefs have 2 hours for their competition. The judges are chefs with high culinary expertise and a lot of experience.
At the competition, many teams used ingredients related to Binh Thuan specialties such as dragon fruit, seafood such as scallops, lobster, sturgeon, land lizards... combined with sauces to create unique and novel dishes.
Each dish is a quintessential combination of ingredients and spices, with dipping sauces created by the chefs, demonstrating their skills.
Many tourists and food lovers come to watch the chefs perform dishes.
After the teams completed their performance, the judges judged the dishes and listened to the teams' presentations.
