On March 26, Mr. Nguyen Cong Duc - Head of the Management Team of Cho Cui Temple - said that from the beginning of 2026 to now, it is estimated that Cho Cui Temple Relic has welcomed about 70,000 people and tourists to pilgrimage.
Although there are equipment and fire prevention systems at Cho Cui Temple Relic, we are currently supplementing and purchasing more equipment to ensure good fire prevention and fighting work," Mr. Duc shared.
According to Mr. Duc, for a long time, to limit people and tourists from burning too much incense that potentially causes fire and explosion, the Management Team of Cho Cui Temple has issued a regulation that each person when coming to worship only burns 3 incense sticks in the temple yard area, and inside the temple is not allowed to burn incense.
Cho Cui Temple is a unique and ancient architectural work started from the Le Dynasty, located at the foot of Ngu Ma mountain on the banks of the Lam River in Xuan Hong commune (old), now Nghi Xuan commune, Ha Tinh province. The temple was recognized as a national historical and cultural relic in 1993.

In the Cho Cui Temple area, there are many stalls selling votive paper, including large-sized paper horses. Many tourists when coming here to pilgrimage have bought paper horses to burn to pray for good luck and peace. This has potentially posed a risk of fire and explosion, so strengthening fire prevention and fighting solutions at this relic is very necessary.
