According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, at Cho Cui Temple (Nghi Xuan commune), many people bought offerings and paper horses (golden votive paper) to burn to pray for good luck and peace.


Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (56 years old, residing in Hanoi city) shared: "My family came here both to celebrate spring and to perform a ceremony to pray for luck and peace in life.
According to records, paper horses are sold at different prices. In which, small-sized horses are priced at 250 thousand VND/horse; medium-sized horses are priced at 350 thousand VND/horse; large-sized horses are priced at 500 thousand VND/horse.




Mr. Nguyen Cong Duc - Head of the Management Team of Cho Cui Temple - said that on February 19, it is estimated that about 5,000 people came to offer incense for good luck at Cho Cui Temple. On February 18, it is estimated that about 3,500 people came to this spiritual relic site to offer incense.
According to Mr. Duc, to limit people and tourists from burning too much incense that potentially causes fire and explosion, the Management Team of Cho Cui Temple continuously turn on loudspeakers to remind each person to only burn 3 incense sticks in the temple yard area.
To serve people and tourists conveniently when moving from the parking lot to the Temple area and from the Temple back to the parking lot with a distance of about 500 m, the Cho Cui Temple Management Team has arranged 7 electric vehicles to continuously pick up and transport tourists for free.
