According to Lao Dong's records, in recent days, the plum garden in Nam Ngam A village (Pu Nhi commune, Dien Bien province) has become the focus on social networks and tourism forums in the province.
This garden with only about 30 plum trees is located about 20km from the center of Dien Bien Phu ward, but it has a special attraction. The plum garden has ancient plum trees, flowers bloom white, creating a "expensive" photo background. At many times, visitors have to wait to choose a satisfactory shooting angle.

Talking to reporters, Ms. Lo Thi Thien - owner of a flower garden in Nam Ngam A village said that the plum trees in the garden have been planted for over 15 years.
Since last year, I have seen many tourists come, this year the number of visitors has also maintained such a high level. Because plum blossoms only bloom in about 2 weeks and then wither to the trees to bear fruit, people often take advantage of this time to visit" - Ms. Thien said.
The fee for taking photos at the garden is 20,000 VND/session. This is considered a reasonable price when tourists can comfortably visit and take photos.

Present at the plum garden, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao (Dien Bien Phu ward) said: "Seeing friends posting beautiful photos on social networks, taking advantage of the weekend, I invited a group of friends here to take photos. To have the most satisfactory photo set, I hired ethnic costumes to suit.
Meanwhile, in Phieng Ban village, Na Tau commune (about 30 km from the province center), the plum growing area of nearly 20 hectares is also blooming, attracting a large number of tourists. This is the place with the largest concentrated plum growing area in Dien Bien province.
The plum garden in Phieng Ban is surrounded by stilt houses of the Thai ethnic people, showing off their colors at the foot of the hill, by the village road... making anyone who accidentally passes by fascinated.
About 5 km from Nam Ngam A village plum garden, in Phu Long B village (Pu Nhi commune), peach blossom gardens are also starting to show off their colors, creating more highlights for the spring travel journey of tourists in Dien Bien.

The plum and peach blossom season in Dien Bien can last until the end of January, early February, around before the Lunar New Year. The best time to take photos is at dawn, when the sun has just set, early morning dew is still lingering on the branches and leaves.
At the end of the plum blossom season, visitors can return to Dien Bien in the summer, around the beginning of May to check in fruit-laden gardens and buy them as gifts to take home.
