On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province in collaboration with the Muong Thanh Market and Trade Service Project launched an online photo contest "Proud of the 80th anniversary of National Day September".
Accordingly, the contest is organized with the aim of arousing and spreading the spirit of national pride and love for the homeland. At the same time, promote the image of the historic Muong Thanh bridge and the Muong Thanh Market project.
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest is for everyone who loves photography. The total prize value of the contest is 15 million VND, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes.
Each individual will submit a submitted submitted article including 3 photos. Of which, 2 photos were taken freely in the Muong Thanh bridge area, the remaining photo requires taking photos from Muong Thanh bridge, pointing at the camera angle to the Muong Thanh Market project.
The time to receive entries is from September 1 to September 7. The results will be announced on September 10.
According to the reporter's records, these days, along the historic Muong Thanh bridge - nearly a hundred national flags and the Party flag have been solemnly hung. The row of flags is straight on both sides of the bridge, creating a "red silk strip" crossing the Nam Rom river, becoming an impressive check-in spot.
