Dien Bien earns 122 billion VND from tourism during holidays

Dien Bien - In 9 days of the Giỗ Tổ and April 30 holiday, the province welcomed about 75,200 tourists.

On May 3, leaders of Dien Bien Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that during the holiday from April 25 - May 3, the province welcomed about 75,200 tourist arrivals, an increase of 1.25 times compared to the 2025 holiday, of which 14,500 tourist arrivals were staying. Total revenue from tourism reached 122 billion VND.

During the holiday, Dien Bien province organized many activities such as: Music night "Returning to the Land of Memories"; Fine Arts Exhibition "Dien Bien Phu - Historical Depictions"; Photo exhibition with the theme "Dien Bien Phu Victory and Dien Bien Today"; traditional sports competitions and exchanges.

The province also opened to serve visitors at the Him Lam Resistance Center relic from April 28.

The road to A Pa Chai (the border crossing of the three countries Vietnam - Laos - China) is basically completed to be put into operation, serving about 500 tourists.

Tourist destinations in the province also organize many experiential activities to serve people and tourists.
