Dien Bien requests tourism establishments not to discriminate against guests

Dien Bien - The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province requires accommodation establishments and restaurants not to discriminate against tourists.

On April 24, Mr. Tran Hai Ha - Acting Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province said that to prepare for the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday, April 30 - May 1 and to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory May 7.

The Department has requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to study and develop and implement plans to regulate and classify passengers by area and destination. Limit the situation of crowded passengers causing local congestion, overload and declining service quality.

Along with that, strengthen inspection and supervision, promptly detect and strictly handle organizations and individuals that do not ensure business conditions and quality standards of tourism services.

Tourist accommodation establishments, restaurants, travel service businesses, and tourist attractions strengthen environmental sanitation, fire and explosion prevention, and ensure security, safety of life and property for tourists. Strictly implement regulations on price listing and selling at listed prices, without discrimination against tourists.

Food service providers strictly comply with food safety and hygiene regulations. Use quality-assured ingredients with unclear origins, ensuring food safety requirements.
