The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 will take place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day.
The exhibition will be held from December 19-22, 2024 at Gia Lam Airport (Hanoi), open from 9am-5pm.
According to the latest announcement, from 9am to 5pm on December 20, the exhibition will be open to professional visitors. Starting from 9am on December 21, the public can visit the exhibition.
The event gathered more than 200 domestic and foreign units and enterprises from more than 30 countries in ASEAN, Asia, Europe and America. Among them were many military powers such as the US, China, Russia, UK, France, India, Israel...
69 types of weapons and equipment researched, developed and produced by the Vietnam People's Army from 2022 to present will also be displayed here.
To attend the exhibition, people and tourists can visit for free by registering personal information on the website https://vietnamdefence.vdi.org.vn/.

Here, applicants need to provide their CCCD number, personal information, a photo of both sides of the CCCD, a clear and frontal photo of the face in full light conditions. This photo will be used for verification when you attend the exhibition.
For large groups, all members of the group must register their information, access the group registration section and follow the instructions.
The exhibition has a direct registration desk but people are encouraged to register online to avoid long queues and waiting. Visitors are requested to bring their ID card when registering directly at the counter.
The exhibition is not recommended for children under 10 years old. For children 10 years old and above, parents should take care to ensure that their children do not touch the equipment and weapons on display.
Exhibition participants are allowed to take photos, film and post on social networking sites.
People traveling by private vehicle please go through the gate on Nguyen Son Street to enter the motorbike and car parking area. We encourage you to travel by public transport, taxi, motorbike taxi… to avoid overload.
No smoking, pets, food or drink in the exhibition area.
In addition, visitors are required to wear polite clothes, no slippers, flip-flops and shorts. The organizers reserve the right to refuse to receive visitors with inappropriate clothes or behavior.
