At the meeting, Mr. Ly Vy Trieu Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, said that in response to World Tourism Day (September 27), the People's Committee of Ca Mau province coordinated with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Tourism Association, and the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association to organize a series of activities in response to World Tourism Day 2025 (September 27).
The series of activities with the theme "Ca Mau - the southernmost point of the Fatherland, a convergence of nature and peace", the series of events took place from September 26 to 30.
Ca Mau organized a Famtrip delegation to survey Ca Mau destination with a journey from Ca Mau Cape tourist area to cultural and historical tourist attractions, such as: Ca Mau Cape tourist area; Southern Talent and Musician Cao Van Lau Memorial Area, Cong Tu Bac Lieu house area, Hoa Binh 1 Wind Power Company.
Along with that, organize the "Quintessence of Ca Mau Cuisine Culture" festival; organize a talented chef competition to introduce "Quintessence of Ca Mau Culinary Culture".
Notably, Ca Mau province will organize a scientific workshop on "Putting the Ca Mau tourism brand in the overall development of national tourism".
The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province said that organizing a series of activities in response to World Tourism Day 2025 is an event to promote the image of Ca Mau - the southernmost destination of the country with rich nature, unique cultural identity and peaceful community life.
At the same time, this is a strategic step to affirm the brand of eco-tourism, cultural, culinary and community tourism destinations.
Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang informed: Tourism is identified by the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee as one of the province's development goals. Ca Mau has many potential and advantages in tourism that need to be awakened.
Through activities in the series of events to celebrate World Tourism Day, Ca Mau hopes to promote Ca Mau tourism more through the media.
