On August 30, at the Sports Training and Competition Center ( facility 1) of Ca Mau province, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province held the opening ceremony of the Sports Festival for civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in 2025.
The Sports Festival was attended by more than 300 athletes who are civil servants, public employees, workers, soldiers of the armed forces, and banking communes and wards in the province.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province - emphasized: The sports festival is a practical activity to review the glorious tradition of the nation, expressing pride and deep gratitude for generations of ancestors who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; at the same time, creating a healthy and useful playground, contributing to health training, improving spiritual life, strengthening solidarity and cohesion between agencies and units. This is not only an opportunity to demonstrate sportsmanship and exercise, but also an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and exchange and learn between units.
The sports festival takes place from August 30 to September 5, athletes will compete in 6 sports such as: mini football, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, tug of war and sack jumping. The rules of the group stage.
After the opening ceremony, athletes competed in tug of war; Sock jumping, mini football and volleyball took place enthusiastically, with the spirit of "Sports - Solidarity - truyeness - Truthfulness - Truth and Sublimation" the teams brought the audience many beautiful balls, fierce, attractive and dramatic matches, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere.
