In order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of tourism, build a civilized, safe and friendly tourism environment, Do Son Ward People's Committee has issued a Plan to strengthen state management of tourism in the peak season of 2026. The goal is that Do Son will welcome 4.9 million tourist arrivals in 2026, contributing to promoting socio-economic development and building the locality into a modern sea tourism city.
According to the plan, Do Son ward will strengthen the management of tourism service business activities, accommodation establishments, restaurants, beaches and tourist attractions; ensure security and order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, food safety; resolutely handle acts of soliciting customers, price gouging, causing unsightliness and affecting the local tourism image.
Along with that, the locality focuses on accelerating the progress of key projects such as renovating Tourist Area Area I, Area II; expanding Ly Thai To road section from Chua Hang to Doi Rong International Tourist Area; completing the connecting road from the coastal road to Van Bun intersection; upgrading the lighting system, urban landscape; repairing historical and cultural relics and continuing to complete infrastructure to serve tourism development.
In 2026, Do Son ward will continue to develop sea and island tourism products, resorts, spiritual culture, ecology and regional linked tourism; and at the same time organize many unique cultural, sports and tourism activities, notably the traditional Do Son Buffalo Fighting Festival, art programs, culinary festivals and tourism promotion events to attract domestic and international tourists. The locality aims to build a "Safe - Civilized - Friendly - Attractive" tourism environment, improve service quality, and affirm its position as one of the leading sea tourism destinations of Hai Phong and the Northern coastal region.
