The storm's intensity will now decrease to level 6, gusting to level 8.
The disaster risk level at this time is assessed at level 3 for the Hoang Sa archipelago and offshore waters from Thua Thien Hue to Binh Dinh.
At 7:00 a.m. on November 12, the storm continued to move southwest at a speed of 10-15 km/h and weakened into a low pressure area.
The proposed location will be at coordinates 14.5 degrees North latitude; 109 degrees East longitude, on the mainland along the coast of Quang Ngai - Binh Dinh.
The intensity of this low pressure area is forecast to be below level 6. The disaster risk level remains at level 3 for offshore waters from Thua Thien Hue to Binh Dinh.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warned that the storm would bring strong winds and high waves, seriously affecting coastal areas.
At sea, the Hoang Sa archipelago will be affected by strong winds of level 6-7; near the storm center it can reach level 8 and gust level 10. Waves will be 2.0 to 4.0 meters high; near the storm center they can reach 3.0 to 5.0 meters, rough seas.
From the afternoon of November 11, the sea off Thua Thien Hue to Binh Dinh will have winds gradually increasing to level 6-7 and gusting to level 9.
