Weather forecast for tomorrow, September 10, in the Northern and North Central provinces, there will be thunderstorms and prolonged flooding in many places due to the influence of storm No. 3.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of storm circulation combined with the tropical convergence zone passing through the North, from September 10 to 11, the North will continue to have prolonged thunderstorms. The midland and mountainous areas of the North will have heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall of 70-150mm, locally over 350mm.

The Northern Delta and coastal areas, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An have moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain with common rainfall of 70-150mm, locally over 300mm.

Residents and tourists need to be alert to the high risk of flooding in low-lying areas along rivers in the provinces of Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Hoa Binh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa; flash floods and landslides on steep slopes in mountainous areas of the North and Thanh Hoa.

Floods on Thao River (Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho), Lo River (Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang), Cau River (Bac Ninh) and Thuong River (Bac Giang), Thai Binh River (Hai Duong), Red River (Hanoi) are rising; Luc Nam River (Bac Giang) at Luc Nam station has peaked at 6.72m and is slowly falling; Hoang Long River (Ninh Binh) is continuing to fall.

On other rivers in the Northern region, Thanh Hoa experienced a flood. During this flood, the flood peak on small rivers in the northern mountainous provinces, especially Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, Son La provinces, reached level 2-3, some rivers above level 3; the flood peak on Cau River, Thuong River, Buoi River, downstream of Ma River (Thanh Hoa) at Ly Nhan Ma reached level 1-2 and above level 2.

Hanoi

Lowest temperature: 24-26 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 27-29 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy with moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms. Southeast wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms are likely to produce tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Northwest

Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees Celsius, some places below 22 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 25-28 degrees Celsius, some places above 28 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy with heavy to very heavy rain. Light wind.

Northeast

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 23 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees Celsius, some places above 30 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, with heavy to very heavy rain; in the plains and coastal areas there will be moderate to heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms. Southeast wind level 2-3. In thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

Lowest temperature: 25-28 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees C; South 32-35 degrees C.

In the North, it is cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places, especially in Thanh Hoa where there is moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms; in the South, it is cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms at night, sunny during the day, hot in some places, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening, locally heavy rain in some places. Light wind. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Lowest temperature: 26-29 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees Celsius, some places above 35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands

Lowest temperature: 21-24 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees Celsius, some places above 30 degrees Celsius.
