Weather Forecast tomorrow, September 12, flood on Cau River and Thai Binh River continues to rise above level 3; forecast time for the North to have sunshine again.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the evening of September 11 to the early morning of September 12, the delta and midland areas of the North, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 30-60mm, locally over 120mm.

During the day and night of September 12, the Northeast region, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, and Hoa Binh will have rain, moderate rain, and thunderstorms in some places, with heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, and locally over 80mm.

On the night of September 11, the above area will have moderate rain and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain. Rain tends to decrease gradually with common rainfall of 20 - 40mm, some places having over 70mm.

According to the heat map from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, rain in the North is likely to last until September 12. From September 13, many areas have begun to experience intermittent sunshine.

Thunderstorms and localized heavy rains in the Central region are likely to last for several days. From around September 13, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the Central Highlands and the South.

In the next 24 hours, water levels at downstream stations of the Red River - Thai Binh River system will rise to level 3 and above. Residents and tourists should proactively monitor the weather situation.

Rising floodwaters pose a risk of flooding in low-lying areas along rivers, alluvial areas outside the main dike, causing riverside dikes to overflow, and landslides to seriously affect vulnerable locations in the dike system, embankments, and riverside works in the provinces of Hanoi, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, and Ninh Binh.

Hanoi

Northwest

Lowest temperature: 21-24 degrees Celsius, some places below 20 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees Celsius, some places above 30 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; Hoa Binh has moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms. Light wind. Thunderstorms have the possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Northeast

Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 22 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning, locally heavy rain, especially in the plains and midlands with moderate to heavy rain, locally very heavy rain; gradually decreasing after the rain. East to northeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue
