According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, due to the tropical convergence zone with an axis through the Central region connecting with storm No. 3, the southwest monsoon is operating at medium to strong intensity, so tonight, thunderstorms continue to develop, causing showers, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
Rainfall is generally 5-10mm, some places over 20mm. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, hail and strong gusts of wind around level 5-7 (8-17m/s). Beware of the risk of flooding in areas with poor drainage capacity.
On September 5, the Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 15-30mm, and some places experiencing over 70mm. The area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 10-30mm, and some places experiencing over 60mm.
