According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, localities, zones and tourist destinations in the area have been and are implementing many unique and novel activities imbued with the cultural identity of ethnic groups to serve tourists.
Mr. Nguyen Duc, Deputy Director of the branch in charge of Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourist Area - Island Village, said that during the 2026 Lunar New Year, the unit will organize a series of attractive activities.
Among them, there are folk games of ethnic groups, cultural exchanges of gongs, picking fortune at the beginning of spring, friendly tourism with elephants, rowing boats on the Serepok River, visiting villages by electric car... It is expected that the tourist area will welcome about 25,000 domestic and foreign visitors.

According to Mr. Duc, the activities not only create a highlight to attract tourists but also contribute to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, while creating more livelihoods and stable income for local people.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh (resident of Hue City) said that his family plans to have a long-day trip to Dak Lak during Tet.
I am impressed with the cultural diversity of the ethnic groups in Dak Lak, along with the pristine and lyrical natural landscape of this place. This Tet holiday, my family wants to leave the crowded city to experience the Central Highlands mountain and forest space," Mr. Thanh shared.
Mr. Tran Hong Tien, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, affirmed that improving the quality of tourism services is an important task, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the province.

During the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday, the tourism industry continues to fully prepare conditions for accommodation facilities, products and services, ensuring security and safety, ready to meet the sightseeing and resort needs of domestic and international tourists.
According to Mr. Tien, in 2026, the Department will advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a master plan and synchronously implement tourism development solutions. In which, focus on linking tourism development with preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic minorities in the area.
Previously, during the 2026 New Year holiday, Dak Lak welcomed nearly 75,000 visitors, including about 550 international visitors. Many sightseeing, experiential, and entertainment activities were organized vibrantly, creating positive signals and favorable momentum for the local tourism industry to enter the peak of the Lunar New Year.
