Closing the promotional activities at the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair (ITE HCMC 2026), a delegation from the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism led by Deputy Director Tran Trung Hieu, along with the capital's business community, deployed many activities to promote, connect markets and promote tourism cooperation.
The highlight of Hanoi tourism at the fair is the "Best Booth Design" award in the booth category with a scale of 36 - 54m2 awarded by the Organizing Committee.
Carrying the message "Hanoi - Heritage destination, connecting the future", the Hanoi booth has an area of 54m2, designed to combine heritage values and modern technology. The image of the heritage citadel gate is recreated in the display space, creating a highlight of architecture and cultural identity of the Capital.

The booth space introduces destinations, cultural products, handicraft villages and typical Hanoi cuisine, bringing visitors visual experiences of a capital rich in tradition but transforming towards modernity.
Participating with Hanoi are 15 typical units, including Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, Hanoi Tourism Corporation, UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club and travel and accommodation businesses. During the fair, the units continuously meet and exchange with airlines, travel businesses, international buyers and partners in the industry.
B2B and B2C connection activities at the booth contribute to opening up opportunities for cooperation, building new tour and route programs, and at the same time helping Hanoi businesses directly access the needs of domestic and international tourist markets.
In addition to activities at booths, the Hanoi delegation participated in many programs within the framework of ITE HCMC 2026, including the opening ceremony and high-level forum with the theme "MICE Tourism in the new era: Sustainability - Connectivity - Opportunities".
The delegation also participated in the discussion session "Creating Vietnamese destination brands to reach international level - Establishing a new measure of success for the tourism ecosystem", thereby contributing practical perspectives on development, promotion and building destination brands.
Participating in ITE HCMC 2026 helps Hanoi strengthen connections between destinations, businesses and international partners, while updating new trends of the tourism market. Orientations on digital transformation, green tourism, MICE product development and heritage values exploitation continue to be focused on by Hanoi in promotion and advertising activities.
Through activities at the fair, Hanoi tourism has more opportunities to introduce products, expand its network of partners and access potential customer markets. This is also an opportunity for Hanoi businesses to seek cooperation opportunities, improve product quality and increase the competitiveness of destinations.
The results achieved at ITE HCMC 2026 contribute to promoting the image of Hanoi - a destination rich in heritage values, diverse products, dynamic and towards sustainable tourism development.
