Accumulated in the first 7 months of the year, the total number of visitors is estimated at 9.37 million, an increase of 29.78%, of which international visitors reached 660.37 thousand, an increase of 7.33%.
The growth of tourists to Hai Phong is supported by many new products and special events such as the luxury Hoa Phuong Do train, the opening of the largest entertainment park and zoo in the North Vinwonder Vu Yen, cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the event of merging the two localities, along with the night tour "Dau Thanh Hang Kenh".
Regarding travel activities, in July, the service establishments are estimated to reach 31,18 thousand visitors, an increase of 76.22% compared to the previous month and an increase of 10.56% over the same period last year. Accumulated for 7 months, the number of tourists served by travel agencies reached 97.62 thousand, an increase of 23.3% over the same period.
