Not only possessing a cool plateau, pine forest and typical flower seasons, Lam Dong currently also has a sea tourism space, aiming to welcome more than 25 million visitors in 2026.
After summarizing tourism activities in the first 6 months of the year, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan directed departments and branches to focus on implementing many solutions to achieve the target of welcoming 25.08 million visitors and revenue of 71,500 billion VND this year.
According to the assessment of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, tourism activities in the first half of 2026 continue to maintain a strong recovery momentum with an increasingly diverse product system.
In addition to traditional strengths such as resort and ecotourism, the locality is expanding many new types such as community tourism, high-tech agriculture, culture - spirituality, adventure sports, MICE, health care and geological tourism.

In the first 6 months of the year, the whole province welcomed nearly 12 million visitors, reaching 47.83% of the annual plan and an increase of more than 18% compared to the same period last year. In which, the number of international visitors reached about 825,000, an increase of 18.6%.
Total tourism revenue of the whole province reached more than 33,310 billion VND, an increase of more than 22% compared to the same period in 2025. This is considered a positive sign in the context that localities are strongly competing in terms of products and visitor markets.
In order to create more attraction for the destination, tourism promotion is implemented through a series of large-scale cultural and sports events such as the Da Lat Cherry Blossom Festival, the "Welcoming Summer Tourism Season 2026" program, the Dalat Music Night Run 2026, the National Lion - Lion - Dragon Strong Teams Championship and many other promotional activities.

However, the locality also recognizes some difficulties such as new products not being competitive enough, some projects being implemented slowly, infrastructure between the sea and highlands not being synchronized, and high-quality human resources still limited.
To achieve the set goals, the province requests the tourism industry to accelerate the development of the tourism development resolution for the period 2026 - 2030, strengthen international promotion and prepare to welcome guests when Lien Khuong International Airport reopens in August.
Lam Dong also orients the development of the night economy, promotes digital transformation and strengthens the connection of sea tourism space - plateau. This is considered a direction to create differentiation for local tourism in the coming time.

With the advantage of diverse landscapes and an increasingly expanding tourism ecosystem, Lam Dong is aiming for the image of a destination that can meet many different experience needs of tourists.
From dynamic sea space to peaceful plateau, from resort to exploration and experience, the locality expects to create new attraction for the tourism industry. When solutions are implemented synchronously, Lam Dong's tourism industry will grow strongly in the last months of the year and get closer to the set goals.
