In the days leading up to the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the tourism market in Can Tho City recorded excitement when many destinations simultaneously introduced new products and activities to serve the spring celebration needs of people and tourists.
Each destination has its own color, creating a diverse appearance for local tourism. Some places choose a modern, brilliant development direction, suitable for the trend of sightseeing, photography and exciting entertainment. Conversely, there are also destinations that exploit cultural depth, recreating the rustic, close Tet atmosphere of the Southern countryside, towards slow experiences, associated with traditional values.

At Cantho Eco Resort, the Tet film studio is invested in an open space with a large area, arranging many small landscape areas with diverse Asian styles.
The Japanese area stands out with the Torii gate, peach blossoms and elegant gardens. The Thai area recreates the characteristic palace space, while the Hong Kong area impresses with red lanterns and urban-style tea shops. In particular, the Vietnamese Tet area is elaborately invested with brick kilns, thatched houses, Canh orange orchards, Dien grapefruit, ancient kitchens, calligraphers giving calligraphy... recreating the close and warm Southern Tet atmosphere.
Besides the film studio, the resort also organizes a series of Spring activities such as folk games, rural markets, teambuilding areas and safari parks with many friendly species. From the 2nd to the 5th day of Tet, lively programs with the theme "Asian Melodies", art performances and calligraphers giving calligraphy are organized continuously to serve tourists.
Meanwhile, Song Hau Farm focuses on experiencing closeness to nature. With an area of about 14ha, surrounded by melaleuca forests and canals, this place brings a feeling of being separated from the urban rhythm of life.

One of the activities loved by many people is digging ditches to catch fish. Visitors can directly wade through the ditches, catch snakehead fish and catfish by hand, then grill snakehead fish by the straw fire and enjoy it on the spot. The culinary space also serves Southern folk cakes such as banh xeo, banh khot, banh cuon... prepared on the spot.
Mr. Tran Minh Cuong - Deputy Head of the Ecological Zone Management Board said that the unit does not aim for a "Tet to watch" but wants tourists to truly live in the Tet atmosphere of the Mekong Delta, with daily activities associated with fields, gardens, and rivers.

Many tourists choose this farm to find a sense of peace again. Ms. Phan Thi Thuy (Ninh Kieu ward, Can Tho city) shared that it has been a long time since she saw her children so happy. The children do not need phones, just engrossed in wading through the water to catch fish. It feels like childhood Tet is returning.
The parallel between modern elements and traditional values not only enriches choices for tourists but also contributes to promoting the image of Can Tho tourism in a multi-experience direction. In the context of increasingly competitive tourism, models associated with cultural identity, exploiting the depth of experience are expected to create a more sustainable impression in the hearts of tourists at the beginning of the new year.
