Accordingly, the opening program of Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2026 with the theme "Symphony: Lake on the Mountain - Tea in the Clouds" brings a large-scale art space combining music, real-scene stage, modern performance technology and unique cultural values of Viet Bac region.
It is known that the program is directed by the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, implemented by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province. General director Thu Hoai and the creative team including: People's Artist Le Chuc, Meritorious Artist Phan Luong, musician Luu Quang Minh and painter Phung Nam Thang created an emotional art night, going beyond the framework of a normal opening ceremony.
Not leaning towards rituals or solo musical performances, the program is built according to a semi-epic structure consisting of 3 chapters: "Symphony: Lake on the Mountain - Tea in the Clouds", "Ecomes of the Thousand Winds" and "The Epic Song of Thai Nguyen - A Magical Land". 3 performance chapters are like 3 streams leading the audience through nature, history and modern rhythm of life in Thai Nguyen.
Opening with the mashup "Hello Vietnam - Returning to Thai Nguyen with you", the voices of Diva My Linh, Meritorious Artist Luong Huy and the choir and dance troupe created a brilliant festive atmosphere, opening a journey to explore the green tea land and legendary lake and mountains.
The first chapter "Symphony: Lake on the Mountain - Tea in the Clouds" recreates the beauty of nature and indigenous culture in symphony language, contemporary dance and 3D mapping technology.
Ancient Then melodies, the sound of the Tinh zither and tea picking scenes take the audience to the Tan Cuong tea cultural space. Not only depicting the beauty of the "first famous tea", the program also shows how Thai Nguyen exploits indigenous culture to develop experiential tourism.
The emotional highlight of Chapter 1 is the musical segment "Love Story of Nang Cong - Chang Coc". On the background of visual mapping water screens and modern lighting effects, the legendary love story is told in a combination of symphony, Broadway musicals, contemporary dance and circus art.
The songs "Love", "Love Song", "Loneliness" performed by 2 singers Duong Hoang Yen and Truong Linh have taken the audience's emotions from romantic to tragic. The image of her transforming into a river, his transforming into a mountain not only recreates the immortal legend but also enhances the poetic beauty of Nui Coc Lake.
Closing the performance, the song "Legend of Nui Coc Lake" through the voice of Diva My Linh created a fairytale space between light, stage and lake surface.
If the first chapter has a lyrical color, then with chapter 2 "Thanh am gió ngàn" it brings the audience back to the heroic atmosphere of the ATK Dinh Hoa region - the "Thu do gió ngàn" of the resistance war.
The performances "He is Ho Chi Minh", "Road to the Future", "Fatherland in the Sunlight" or "Continuing the Story of Peace" successively recreate patriotism and national pride in modern musical language combined with large-scale stage scenes.
The appearance of "quality baby" Xe Xe in the mashup "Uncle Ho in the Heart - Vietnamese Baby" brings a youthful color, helping the program balance between epic and contemporary breath.
The final chapter "Glorificent Song - Wonderful Land", the stage transitioned to a modern, vibrant atmosphere like a youthful music festival. The songs "Lake on the Mountain", "Sentimental Lake Ba Be", "Xap xình xap xình", "Distant Days" have depicted the image of a dynamic, open and vibrant Thai Nguyen.
In particular, Double2T's performance with Rap combined with mountain folk sounds made the atmosphere explode, bringing a new breath to the opening night of the Thai Nguyen 2026 tourist season.
One of the most impressive highlights of the program is the drone light performance combined with the symphony "Radiant Day - Light behind the Clouds". A series of cultural, historical and tourism symbols of Thai Nguyen appear in the night sky such as: Nui Coc Lake, tea hill, Then singing, ATK Dinh Hoa...
Closing the art night was a community sạp dance with 1,000 pairs of sạp, officially setting a Vietnam record.
