Of which, international visitors are estimated at 288,752, a strong increase of 112.9%.
Along with the increase in the number of visitors, total revenue from tourism is estimated at 1,546.7 billion VND, an increase of 32.2% compared to the same period last year. This is a positive sign showing the recovery and sustainable growth of the local tourism industry.
Mr. Duong Hoang Sum - Director of Vinh Long Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - said that to achieve the above results, the provincial tourism industry has promoted state management, improved service quality, and ensured safety for tourists. At the same time, focusing on human resource training, organizing professional training classes for officials, businesses and people participating in tourism.
Promotion and promotion work has also been strengthened with many activities such as participating in fairs, displays, and promotion of tourism products inside and outside the province, and developing content on digital platforms. In addition, the province also focuses on building new and typical products such as rural tourism models.
