On March 25, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Sam Son Ward Police had just coordinated with Market Management Team No. 2 to verify, clarify and issue a decision to sanction administrative violations against a woman who forced tourists to use photo services at the beach.

Previously, on March 23, a social media account posted an article reflecting the bad experience at Sam Son beach. Specifically, while taking souvenir photos, a tourist was offered a price of 30,000 VND/photo by a woman working as a street photographer and committed to sending the original photo file.
However, after taking the photos, this person arbitrarily printed 5 photos and forced the tourist to pay 150,000 VND, instead of 3 photos (90,000 VND) as initially agreed. When the tourist refused, the woman had an aggressive attitude, raised her voice, and even had acts of clashing, putting pressure on the tourist to pay.
Immediately after receiving the reflected information, functional forces quickly coordinated to verify the identity of the subject. Through working, functional agencies identified the woman as Ms. Hoang Thi H.
At the police station, Ms. H. admitted to the act of soliciting and forcing tourists to buy goods and services contrary to the customer's wishes.
Based on current legal regulations, functional agencies made a record and issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Ms. Hoang Thi H. with a fine of 2 million VND.
