Gia Lai - Traditional fur houses in Gia Lai and Kon Tum are being preserved to preserve cultural identity and develop tourism.

Kon Plong District People's Committee (Kon Tum) has just held the inauguration ceremony of the Kon Leang village cultural village greenhouse, Mang Den town.

The project is built in traditional greenhouse architecture, with foundations, pillars and foundations made of stone-paved concrete; floors, steps and walls made of wooden planks; and natural painted roofs. The total investment cost is more than 786 million VND.

In Tu Mo Rong district, the government and people joined hands to build traditional greenhouses and long houses in Tu Tho community tourism village.

Chairman of Tu Mo Rong District People's Committee, Mr. Vo Trung Manh, emphasized: "The house of a foreigner and a long-standing house is not only a place for community activities but also preserves the traditional cultural values of our ancestors. Along with the Central Highlands gong - a world cultural heritage, the crab house always attracts tourists to explore and learn.

In Gia Lai, people in Ha Tay commune, Chu Pah district are proud of the two largest traditional houses in the Central Highlands.

In particular, the Kon So Lach village hairdressing room is made entirely of precious wood, still retaining traditional features with canvas roofs, columns and wooden bars despite facing the wave of concreting.

The hairpin house is not only a sacred symbol but also symbolizes community protection, bringing peace and a bumper harvest season. In front of the majestic barbershop, the village elders placed an additional burner to signal important events or festivals.

This is also the place where a certificate of merit is hung to recognize the good academic and labor achievements of the children in the village, contributing to preserving the pride of national culture.

Preserving and promoting the value of the houses not only preserves cultural identity but also promotes community tourism in Gia Lai and Kon Tum.

Visitors here can not only admire the unique architecture of the house but also immerse themselves in cultural festivals, enjoy unique gong melodies.
