Ha Tinh Provincial Trade Union supports more than 28,000 workers

On April 1st, Ms. Tang Thi Linh Chi - Vice President of the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation - said that in the first quarter of 2026, the work of caring for the lives of union members, workers and social activities has been focused on by the Ha Tinh Trade Union organization, flexibly and appropriately according to the actual conditions of each unit.

As a result, the whole province mobilized more than 8.2 billion VND to care for union members and workers. In which, the Provincial Labor Federation has provided support for 1,836 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 1.83 billion VND and 1,836 gift bags worth 459 million VND.

Granting support for building new, renovating, expanding, and repairing 11 "Trade Union Shelter" houses with a total amount of 320 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Although businesses face many difficulties, grassroots trade unions in businesses have mobilized more than 5.6 billion VND to support 28,520 union members and workers. Of which, support from experts and business leaders accounts for about 50%.

From the support of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 650 union members and workers have received support of 650 gifts with a total cash value of 650 million VND and 650 gift bags worth 195 million VND.

In addition to caring for material things, the Ha Tinh Provincial Trade Union promotes cultural and sports activities such as volleyball, football, cultural exchange, creating playgrounds for workers. More than 85% of grassroots trade unions have organized and attracted over 20,000 turns of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers to participate.

Ms. Tang Thi Linh Chi - Vice President of Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation said that in the coming time, especially in the second quarter of 2026, the Ha Tinh Provincial Trade Union organization will focus on activities during the peak of Workers' Month and Work Safety and Health Month 2026 associated with caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

Trade union levels in Ha Tinh province will organize emulation movements among workers and employees; deploy peak months to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions. Review, score, and rank Collective Labor Agreements; guide grassroots trade unions to coordinate in organizing employee conferences in 2026, signing new collective labor agreements, dialogues at the workplace, periodic health checks; participate in inspecting the compliance with labor laws at some enterprises.

In particular, the Ha Tinh Provincial Trade Union will mobilize maximum socialized resources, review union members in difficult circumstances to promptly visit, give gifts, support people injured in labor accidents and build "Trade Union Shelter" houses in Workers' Month 2026.
