Regulations on collection rates, collection, payment, management and use of fees for visiting scenic spots and historical relics will be applied from the beginning of 2026, replacing previous regulations.
Accordingly, the collection rate at previous relics in the western part of the city remains the same, including 20,000 VND for adults in Con Son, Kiep Bac; 10,000 VND at Cao Temple and Dong Kinh Chu; 5,000 VND at Dao Co. Management units here are entitled to deduct 100% of the fees collected to serve the conservation work and improve service quality.
In the eastern area of the city, the tour fee at Cat Ba increases by 20% - 100%, depending on the route. Specifically, the entrance fee to Cat Ba Bay applies 120,000 VND for adults and 60,000 VND for children; the routes in Cat Ba National Park are kept at 120,000 VND; the Ninh Tiep - Tien Duc cave route is 80,000 VND. The fee for overnight accommodation in the bay ranges from 400,000 to 650,000 VND, depending on the number of nights.
The city also stipulates free admission for children under 6 years old, people with severe disabilities, and extracurricular student groups; 50% discount for students, the elderly, poor households, and people with severe disabilities.
