According to the announcement of the People's Committee of Cat Hai Special Zone (Hai Phong), Cat Co 1, 2, 3 beach area is a key tourist destination, the number of tourists increases during the tourist season, especially on weekends and holidays, posing a risk of traffic congestion, affecting security and order and local tourism image.
In order to ensure smooth and safe traffic, and serve the needs of people and tourists well, the People's Committee of the special zone does not allow vehicles to operate on Cat Tien road (road to Cat Co 1, 2 beach) from 5:30 am to 6:30 pm daily, including: cars with more than 16 seats, motorbikes, mopeds, four-wheeled vehicles with engines for passenger transport (electric tourist vehicles). The application period is from April 30 to the end of September 5.
The locality also organizes remote traffic diversion, arranges reasonable transfer points for picking up and dropping off passengers; supplements signs and lines for picking up and dropping off passengers at the foot of Cat Co 1 and 2 slopes. Along with that, arranges standing forces to guide traffic, strengthens patrols, strictly handles violations; coordinates with traffic police forces in regulating and diverting traffic.
Cat Hai Special Zone People's Committee also requested businesses and tourist establishments to proactively inform tourists about the above content. At the same time, arrange parking lots in accordance with regulations, organize appropriate shuttle vehicles, and coordinate with functional agencies when necessary.
