Hundreds of products from three regions gather at the 2024 Craft Village Fair

The 2024 Craft Village Fair is organized to connect the consumption of craft village products, OCOP; create an environment for exchange on production and business of handicraft products.

On September 20, speaking at the Press Conference of the 20th Vietnam Craft Village Fair - 2024, Mr. Ha Tien Nghi - Deputy Manager of Hanoi City Rural Development Branch - said: "The 2024 Craft Village Fair is organized to preserve and protect traditional craft villages. In addition, it creates a playground for artisans, skilled workers, and craft villages to have the opportunity to exchange and share experiences. This is also an opportunity to advertise and promote trade, introduce craft village products. From there, we can gradually develop better traditions and promote national identity".

Mr. Nguyen Hong Viet - Head of Event Organization and Trade Services Division, emphasized: “The 2024 Craft Village Fair is organized to connect businesses that purchase and consume handicraft products with craft villages and traditional craft villages to promote consumption, increase product value, develop production, and contribute to local economic growth.

In addition, strengthen joint venture relationships and investment cooperation in all fields. In particular, promote socio-economic growth, linking traditional craft village products with rural tourism in Vietnam.

The 2024 Craft Village Fair will be held from October 3 to 6 with 100 standard booths displaying and introducing many typical handicraft products of traditional craft villages and streets across the country such as: Bat Trang ceramics, My Duc silk, Thuong Tin embroidery, Canh Nau wooden furniture, Xuan La figurines...

In addition, the Fair also displays many agricultural products that meet OCOP standards of 3 stars or higher, typically: Cu Lao Cai sen rice, Dak Lak coffee, Thai Nguyen tea, Quy Hoa golden flower tea...

Many activities at the Fair include the Award Ceremony of the Hanoi Craft Village Products Competition 2024, the forum "Promoting the consumption of traditional craft village products and OCOP products through e-commerce platforms", livestream activities, organizing tour groups...
