The 5th National Congress of the Vietnam Craft Villages Association took place and summarized the work of the fourth term (2018 - 2023). The 5th Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Craft Village Association with 89 members. Mr. Trinh Quoc Dat is Chairman of the Vietnam Craft Village Association, term V (2024 - 2029).
Sharing at the Congress, Ms. Pham Thu Hang - Deputy Director of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations - Ministry of Home Affairs commented that the field of operation of the Vietnam Craft Villages Association is a unique and widespread feature. Traditional occupations are simply a means of earning a living, but they are also the soul of the nation, promoting Vietnamese culture. This field is receiving increasing attention from the Party and State. Nearly 20 years ago, the establishment of the Association was inevitable to preserve and promote Vietnamese culture.
“The Association has developed impressively in recent times, is a strong Association, operates methodically and focuses on many aspects such as: Policy consulting, member development, young artisans, foreign affairs to develop our strengths," Ms. Pham Thu Hang said.
Vietnam Craft Village Association is a professional social organization, a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, representing craft village members nationwide.

The Association's activities were highly appreciated by the Party and State, and the President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal.
