The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a plan to organize the event "Hoi An - Japan Cultural Exchange", the 21st time in Hoi An ancient town, scheduled to take place from December 26 to 28.
Accordingly, the program is directed by the city, including many special activities.
The opening ceremony of the event "Hoi An - Japan Cultural Exchange" was held at 7:30 p.m. on December 26 at the An Hoi Sculpture Garden Stage, Hoi An Ward with the opening ceremony, performance of Japanese drums and a Vietnam - Japan combined art program.

Cultural exchange and traditional art performance at 7:30 p.m. on December 27 and 28 at the same location, including Yosakoi dance, cosplay performance and Vietnamese - Japanese cultural activities.
The performance of "Traditional Japanese Trieu Trieu Trieu" at 3:30 p.m. on December 27 and 28 in Hoi An ancient town recreated the Futondaiko Trieu Trieu ceremony and the performance of a group of artists from Sakai city.
Reenacting "The March of the Jewelry Company and Traders of Araki Sotaro" at 5:00 p.m. on December 26 and 27, in Hoi An ancient town, a model of Chau An Boat on the streets and the bow rings of Chua Cau was performed.
Sakai calligraphy and tea ceremony performance at 10:00 on December 27 and 28 at Cam Pho Communal House (52 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Hoi An ward), where visitors can experience writing calligraphy and enjoying tea ceremony from Sakai artisan.

Street art exchange from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on December 26 at Cau Pagoda vong, Hoi An ward, visitors will be able to exchange traditional Vietnamese martial arts, perform Yosakoi, perform traditional music, experience playing traditional Japanese drums and performances of Terakoya Japanese language class.
The Cosplay contest at 4:30 p.m. on December 28 at An Hoi Monument Garden Stage, Hoi An Ward included a performance, exchange and contest for costumes of Japanese comic book characters, graphic novels and animated cartoons.
The event is not only an occasion for cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan, but also aims to enhance the position of Hoi An ancient town and Da Nang city tourism in stimulating tourism at the end of the year.
