At Phuong Duc homestay (Muong Phang commune), Ms. Ca Thi Phuong, the owner of the homestay, said that on average, there are 12-14 visitors staying each day during the holidays, an increase of 5-6 times compared to normal days.

According to Ms. Phuong, the village has an art troupe ready to exchange and perform for tourists to enjoy. Guests in need can also experience farming with the people such as harvesting rice, growing vegetables, catching fish, creating unforgettable memories.

Not only homestays, the hotel system in the area also recorded a high increase in the number of room bookings. At Him Lam Hotel (Dien Bien Phu ward), the unit currently has 82 rooms and the occupancy rate during this year's holiday is estimated at about 80%, an increase of 2-3 times compared to normal days.

According to Mr. Pham Van Thang - Head of Tourism Management Department (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien), currently the whole province has over 250 accommodation establishments with over 3,300 rooms, equivalent to 6,443 beds. Of which, 39 hotels, 152 guesthouses, 18 guesthouses and 42 homestays.

Mr. Thang said that to ensure the best service for tourists during the holidays, cultural villages and households engaged in community tourism are encouraged to organize activities to introduce traditional culture and unique cuisine, contributing to creating a unique highlight for local tourism.

Along with that, establishments strictly implement regulations on price listing and selling at listed prices, without discrimination against tourists.
