On July 11, Mr. Hoang Viet Trung - Director of the Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Preservation Center said that the unit coordinated with the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, the Ho Chi Minh City Antiquities Association and private collectors to open the exhibition "Golden Heritage - Convergence of Essence" at Long An Palace (Hue City). The exhibition is open to serve people and tourists until October 9, 2026.
The exhibition introduces more than 100 Nguyen Dynasty artifacts and antiques collected and preserved by 23 domestic collectors. The artifacts have diverse materials such as gold, silver, pháp lam, đồng tam khí, ceramics, wooden furniture, textiles... , reflecting the historical, artistic and cultural values of the royal court.
The exhibition space is built according to four themes: Dynasty power; Rituals and court order; Quintessence of handicrafts and fine arts; Eternal gold, helping the public better understand court life and the value of Nguyen Dynasty heritage.
According to the Organizing Committee, the exhibition not only introduces precious antiques but also spreads awareness of preserving and promoting the value of national cultural heritage, creating a bridge between private collectors and the public.
Mr. Hoang Viet Trung said that the exhibition introduces many precious antiques that collectors have painstakingly preserved. Each artifact is associated with historical stories, contributing to inspiring the preservation and promotion of national cultural values.
According to collectors, the value of the antiques is not only in material factors but also in spiritual significance, contributing to arousing love for heritage and raising awareness of preserving traditional cultural values.
The exhibition is expected to become an attractive destination for people and tourists when coming to Hue, contributing to promoting the image of the Ancient Capital associated with cultural heritage.
