The national historical and cultural relic Tien La Temple in Tien La commune, Hung Yen province is the place to worship Bat Nan Dong Nhung Dai tuong quan Vu Thi Thuc - a female general under the Hai Ba Trung dynasty.
To commemorate her merits, local people built a temple on the very place where she sacrificed. Every year on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, a festival is opened to express gratitude for her merits and educate patriotism for all classes of people.
With cultural and historical values, in 1986, Tien La Temple was ranked as a national historical and cultural relic; in 2016, Tien La festival was recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.
