On April 24, Hai Chau Ward People's Committee (Da Nang City) held the opening ceremony of the Hai Chau Village Temple Festival with many unique activities.

Hai Chau Village Temple Festival 2026 takes place from April 23rd to the end of April 24th with full sections including the main ritual, traditional incense offering ceremony and the vọng ritual part, to express respect and gratitude to the gods of blessings, those who contributed to reclaiming land and establishing hamlets.
Within the framework of this year's festival, the locality organizes many rich activities, imbued with national cultural identity, creating a diverse experience space for people and tourists.
Prominent is the culinary display area and women's startup products with many creative and skillful items. In addition, the photo exhibition introduces the imprints of history, culture and local life.
The festival atmosphere is more exciting with folk games and sports such as tug-of-war, stick pushing, sack dancing, Chinese chess... coming from schools and residential areas.
The highlight of the festival is the flower lantern releasing activity at Dinh Lang Lake, with lights carrying wishes for peace and happiness. Along with that, people and tourists also enjoyed traditional art performances such as chanting Bai Choi, classical opera, contributing to preserving and spreading national cultural values.
In addition, in the Dinh Lang area, there are also activities such as placing lucky trees, writing calligraphy to give letters to people and tourists implemented by the Han Nom Association of Da Nang City, bringing meaningful spiritual values.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Cao Thi Huyen Tran - Secretary of Hai Chau ward said that Hai Chau communal house is not only an architectural work with historical, cultural, and spiritual values but also a place to preserve community memories, fostering the spirit of solidarity and attachment of the people through many generations.
The village communal house festival held annually is a traditional cultural and religious activity, an opportunity for today's and future generations to respectfully pay tribute to the predecessors and successors - those who contributed to reclaiming land, establishing hamlets, building villages, nurturing the order, morality and identity of Hai Chau land in particular and Quang Nam - Da Nang in general through generations," Ms. Tran said.
Previously, on the morning of April 23, the Hai Chau Ward Public Service Supply Center organized the opening of sports activities within the framework of the Hai Chau Village Temple Festival 2026.
