Room rates increase, many preferential services
The long holiday is forecast to cause the number of visitors to tourist areas and attractions in Phu Tho province to increase sharply.
According to a reporter's survey, room rates during holidays are commonly increased by 10% to 40% compared to normal days, depending on the time and room class.

At Xoan Retreat - Da Bac, room rates during holidays increase by about 300,000 VND to 1 million VND compared to normal days. Currently, Xoan has about 20 regular rooms and 1 villa, which can accommodate 80 guests.
Room rates during holidays range from about 1.5 million VND to 3 million VND. Villa rooms are priced at about 10 million VND/room.
Meanwhile, homestays in Ban Lac, Mai Ha commune are almost fully booked. Accommodation prices here are softer than in other areas, ranging from 180,000-300,000 VND/person for community guesthouses. Private rooms are priced from 1.5 million VND to more than 3 million VND/room.

At Mai Chau Hideaway, holiday room rates are about 2.8-5 million VND/room, depending on room class. Accommodation establishments proactively arrange personnel, prepare rooms and build more experience programs suitable for long-term staying tourists.

Focusing on food security and safety
Along with facilities and services, security and safety for tourists are put first by resorts.
Units proactively coordinate with local police forces, strengthen inspection and develop plans to handle unusual situations.
Fire prevention and fighting systems, equipment, escape routes and areas at risk of unsafety are reviewed before the holiday.

Food safety, human resources and entertainment activities are also strictly controlled, especially during peak days. Currently, many rooms have a fairly high number of pre-booked customers. Tourists should proactively book rooms early to have more suitable choices during the holidays.
