Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee said that the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment issued Official Dispatch No. 9452/CD-BNNMT, ordering the Director of Hoa Binh Hydropower Company to open 1 bottom discharge gate.
Before the above information, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Dinh Cong Su assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to direct relevant units to fully prepare plans to protect people and property.
The Provincial Police and the Department of Construction are assigned to guide organizations, individuals, and vehicle owners who are operating or anchored on rivers; ferry terminals, ferry wharves, and ports to proactively prevent. Activities must be adjusted to suit actual developments, to prevent loss of life and property.
People's Committees of communes and wards along the river must immediately notify the operation of Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir to people and related units. Local authorities are responsible for warning of risks, requesting people to stay away from landslide areas, dangerous deep water areas and construction sites.
Localities must also proactively develop handling plans when abnormal situations occur, ensuring absolute safety for the community in the area.
The Provincial Military Command is assigned to urge the implementation of relevant agencies and units. At the same time, this force directs tasks under its authority, protects the lives and property of the people, as well as advises the Provincial People's Committee on issues that need to be handled beyond the level.
