According to the announcement of the Minister of Home Affairs, this year's National Day holiday, officials, civil servants, and public employees are entitled to 2 days off according to regulations, including September 2nd and 1 day immediately before, September 1st.
Along with that, the second working day, August 31st, was changed to the weekly holiday Saturday, August 22nd. Thanks to this, combined with holidays and weekly holidays, cadres, civil servants, and public employees are entitled to 5 consecutive days off, from August 29th to the end of September 2nd.
For employees at enterprises, National Day holiday is September 2nd and they can choose 1 of 2 more days, September 1st or September 3rd, depending on the enterprise's plan.
The long holiday creates conditions for many people to plan for travel, return to their hometowns to reunite with their families, or explore domestic and international destinations. Many tourists have actively researched and booked tours early to have more choices in terms of itinerary, means of transportation, and accommodation.

Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, in Hanoi, said "This year's National Day, I plan to book tours with a group of friends to some historical and cultural sites. The group is also considering combo packages including air tickets and hotels for convenient travel and rest.
Similarly, Ms. Truong Khanh Linh's family, in Hanoi, plans to take advantage of the 5-day holiday to travel. Her family believes that booking tours early will have more suitable choices in terms of destinations, schedules and services.

My family is considering some destinations near Hanoi such as Ha Long, Ninh Binh. If we can arrange time, we can also choose tours to Korea or China. Booking early helps the family be more proactive and avoid the situation of looking for tours close to the date and no longer having suitable choices," Ms. Linh shared.
According to records from travel businesses, the number of customers interested in and booking tours for National Day September 2nd is increasing compared to the beginning of the month. Beachy destinations and localities near Hanoi are chosen by many tourists, while long-day tours to the international market are also starting to attract attention.
Mr. Pham Van Mien - General Director of Viva Travel International Trading and Service Joint Stock Company said: "During September 2nd, destinations that both meet resort needs and are convenient for travel continue to be prioritized by customers. Neighboring markets in Hanoi such as Ha Long, Ninh Binh, especially sea tours, are still attractive. Currently, customers can easily access information, compare prices and book services online. When the rest time has been determined, many people tend to book early to choose suitable flight times, hotels and schedules. This also helps to limit the risk of service price increases when booking close to the date or during the peak of the holidays.
The long National Day holiday is creating more room for the tourism market to grow, as many families and groups of friends are taking advantage of arranging short trips. In the context of increasing demand, travel businesses are also promoting the development of diverse tours, meeting the needs of resorts, exploration and experience of tourists during the holidays.
