On June 1st, news from Co Dam Commune People's Committee said that the locality has just organized to receive more than 1 billion VND in funding from sponsors to build the C45 artillery battlefield relic site - Bai Dua and support social security in the area.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Corporation supported 500 million VND; Hai Duong Petroleum Maritime Joint Stock Company supported 300 million VND to support the construction of additional items at the C45 artillery battlefield relic site - Bai Dua.
Nam Con Son Exploration and Production Branch of PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Corporation located in Ho Chi Minh City sponsored 210 million VND to build 3 great solidarity houses for households in difficult circumstances in Co Dam commune.
Relic site of C45 artillery battlefield - Bai Dua in Cuong Thinh village, Co Dam commune, where 20 officers and soldiers of Artillery Company 45 Ha Tinh sacrificed in the years 1967 - 1968.
The project has been started with a total budget of nearly 10 billion VND in phase 1 from the state budget and socialization from philanthropists and children away from home. The project has a total area of more than 3,000m2 and includes many items such as: memorial house, memorial stele, ceremonial preparation house, road to the relic site, lighting...
Currently, Co Dam commune continues to plan and prepare to invest in building more items at the C45 artillery battlefield relic site - Bai Dua such as: Central memorial - ceremony square, semi-circular lake, spiritual aquatic landscape space, landscape axis and reliefs.
With funding from businesses, Co Dam commune will have conditions to complete more set items, contributing to making the C45 artillery battlefield relic site - Bai Dua more spacious and complete.
