On the morning of January 1st, at Kim Lien Special National Relic Site (Nam Dan), the collective of officials, employees, and workers of the Relic Site Management Board organized a flag salute ceremony at the beginning of 2026, along with incense and flower offering ceremonies to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.
From early morning, the on-duty force, tour guides and the reception department were present to prepare to welcome pilgrims to visit his homeland.

The Management Board said that before 2026, the unit has completed the landscape embellishment work, ensuring the necessary conditions to be ready to welcome delegations and tourists to offer incense and commemorate.
The work is deployed in the context of 2026 taking place many important political events such as the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), the 85th anniversary of Uncle Ho's return to the country (January 28, 1941 - January 28, 2026), the 115th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2026), the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's second visit to his hometown (December 8, 1961 - December 8, 2026) and activities towards the 14th National Party Congress, the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
Display areas, visual propaganda panels have been completed, green trees, flower carpets, miniatures and Tet spaces have been arranged in the reception area, festival yard and entrance to the sightseeing point. Plans to coordinate visitors, ensure security - order, parking area and pilgrimage guidance have been reviewed.
According to the Management Board, 2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Kim Lien Relic Area (1956 - 2026). Therefore, preparation work is given more attention, especially the task of serving high-level delegations of the Party, State, socio-political organizations and people across the country to offer incense and commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and his relatives.
